Case Study 3: Maggie's London
The design of this centre is providing a healthy environment and less institutional feeling. The design was considered to implement elements of open space and warmth colour tone to create a sense of inviting and comfortable for people who diagnosed with cancer and their family members. The building is surrounded by greenery which helps to reduce and filter the noise and pollution from surrounding and create better sensory environment. In order to avoid traditional-like health building, the centre is painted in orange (E-architect & Architecture).
